JACKSON -- After 13 years of waiting, the Jackson Christian boys soccer team wasn’t going to wait around any longer.

Trying to claim a district title for the first time since 2011, the Royals needed just 39 seconds to get on the board in Thursday’s district title match with Ann Arbor Central Academy, and eventually came away with an 8-0 win, ending the 13-year district drought.
