JAX, UNF & Stetson Claim ASUN Men's Soccer Weekly Awards - Atlantic Sun Conference

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville duo of Tobias Holtan and Christian Sekanina along with North Florida's Joaquin Acuna and Stetson's Clarence Loriot earned this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Soccer honors, announced Tuesday by the league office.Holtan scored twice in his first start of the season to help the Dolphins defeat Central Arkansas on the road by a score of 2-1. Sekanina recorded four saves between the pipes for Jacksonville including one that came as time expired. Acuna scored two goals in UNF's 2-1 road win against defending ASUN Champion Lipscomb. The senior lifted the Ospreys to their first road victory of the season as well. Loriot led the Hatters back line in a triumph against Queens where Stetson held the Royals to only three shots on goal.A full list of this season's weekly award winners can be found HERE.
