HS Girls Soccer Wrap: Allentown rallies from two-goal deficit to beat WW-PS – Trentonian

ALLENTOWN — The Allentown High girls soccer team twice rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat West Windsor-Plainsboro South, 4-3, in overtime on Thursday afternoon.

Amanda Hoglund had a hat trick for the Redbirds (9-5-1), including the game-winner in overtime. Martha Olorunnisola also scored for Allentown.

Riley Duguay had a pair of goals and Maya Montemayor tallied once for the Pirates (7-3-2), who led 2-0 and 3-1 before the Redbirds stormed back in a thriller.

WW-PN 3, PDS 0

PRINCETON — Ginny Choi, Prema Budhiraja and Sarah Xavier were all on target as the Knights (6-8) picked up a nice victory over the Panthers (6-7-1). Jenna Manolakos got the shutout with five saves. PDS dropped to 1-5 in its last six games.

Steinert 1, Hightstown 0

HAMILTON — Reilly Klein converted a pass from Teagan Fairfax in the second overtime, Mia Petracca made seven saves and the Spartans (6-8-2) edged the Rams (3-11).

Princeton 6, Hamilton West 0

PRINCETON — Virginia Marchesi and Mauela Dante Boarato both scored twice, Quinn Gallagher and Olivia Deluca also notched goals and the Tigers (4-8-2) won their second straight by beating the Hornets (3-12).

Hopewell Valley 6, Trenton 0

HOPEWELL TWP. — Six different players scored for the Bulldogs (13-2-2), who extended their unbeaten streak to 14, with a victory over the Tornadoes (1-13). Giana Azara, Elizabeth Buchert, Barrett Upson, Nicole Robotti, Charlotte Barnes and Norah Klish were the goal getters.

Notre Dame 2, Ewing 0

LAWRENCE TWP. — Goals from Riley Cunningham and Jamieson White on either side of halftime lifted the Irish (11-4-1) past the Blue Devils (3-12) for their 10th straight victory.

Lawrence 6, Nottingham 0

LAWRENCE TWP. — Michaela Little scored twice, Becca Boggs and Liliana Calderone had a goal and an assist each and the Cardinals (9-6) cruised past the Northstars (8-8). Elena Rivera also scored for Lawrence.

Somerville 3, Robbinsville 0

ROBBINSVILLE — Kaylee Lauber scored all three goals and the Pioneers (6-6-2) upended the Ravens (9-5-2) in a non-league contest.
